Allotment Group Inaugural Meeting
The Parish Plan Implementation Group would like to set up a meeting as soon as possible with all interested parties.  If anyone is interested in starting an     allotment, please contact Carole.

Land Owners

We are also looking to rent or buy a plot of land for use by the Allotment Group.  If you are a landowner and would be prepared to let us rent or buy a small plot, please get in touch with Carole.
Car Share
If there are any residents who do not have a car and are having difficulty getting to the shops, post office, doctor, hospital, etc., and back again, please contact Carole and she will try to find someone with a car who can help.
LIKEWISE – Any residents with their own car who are prepared to give lifts to residents without cars, please let Carole know.  She will need your name, ‘phone number and days/times you would possibly be available (or days/times you are definitely not available.)  THANK YOU.

PUPPY POOPERS PLASTER PATHS

 There is an increasing number of small, delicately perfumed plastic bags decorating the fence posts, tree and hedge branches along our beautiful network of footpaths and lanes.
Who is expected to clear these up remains a mystery.
It is an insult to the farmers who own the fields and also to our valiant litter pickers who pick up the mountains of litter that are inconsiderately dropped around our Parish by passing motorists.  To expect them to dispose of these unsightly and smelly items is a step too far.  Also they are; 
an eyesore to others who are out for a country walk in our Parish,
a danger to everyone’s health and to our wildlife,
environmentally unfriendly.
It has come to the Gawsworth Parish Plan Steering Group’s notice that there is a need for a few more ‘dog bins’ and we are asking the Parish Council to look into this.
PLEASE DISPOSE OF YOUR DOG POO BAGS RESPONSIBLY.
